Orchids

Orchids presents an exotic range of flowers. From various colours to shape, orchids add an enigmatic beauty to your rooms. Though they are natives of tropical lands and love humid atmosphere they can aldo thrive in your home environment if you take care of them. In this journey of orchid parenting i learned few points i want to share. 




First, don´t overwater them and while watering ensure one thing that water should not be logged. It needs full drainage of water so that roots can breathe and absorb nutrient easily. It is better if the pots used for orchids have more holes so that water drains out quickly. These specific orchid pots are also available on Amazon. 

It is better if you use customised soil especially designed for orchids. Such type of preparations are easily availbale online. You can check it on Amazon.

Another issue is humidity, if orchid is placed indoor where humidity is low, use of a basic humidifier ia a good option.
